La protagonista (aprovechando el estreno en teatro de su nueva obra junto con Bibiana Fernández, llamada La Gran Depresión) es Loles León, gran amiga del diseñador y una de las actrices más geniales que tenemos en el panorama nacional. Considerada ''Chica Almódovar'' por la cantidad de papeles que ha interpretado en los films del director manchego. Sin duda una estrella en la gran pantalla y fuera de ella.

Dichas características las podemos trasladar a la obra de Delfín con su introducción de insectos en este caso hormigas( influencia de Buñuel) y de simbología proveniente del surrealismo como las sogas de ahorcado al cuello y los velos que cubren las cabezas(influencia de René Magritte, más concretamente de sus obras Los amantes, a la que dedicaremos un post pronto.

Merrick, apodado El Hombre Elefante por sus mutaciones en manos, pies y cabeza que le hacían poseer características similares a las de este paquidermo. Durante la historia, se puede observar como la sociedad da de lado John, y también su continuo propósito de seguir hacia delante. El diseñador malagueños ha utilizado varias piezas de su banda sonora en sus desfiles, siendo la pieza The Nightmare, la que ponía música a su colección de 2008, Intimidad. Recientemente durante su ultima presentación, Diógenes Síndrome, ilustro sus propuestas con otro de los temas de esta genial selección. En este caso se trataba de Adagio for Strings de Samuel Barber.

David, introdujo una mezcla, de la genial pieza de cabecera de la serie firmada por Angelo,durante su desfile Cosas del Surrealismo, celebrado de forma extraordinaria en el año 2008 en el Museo Guggenheim de Bilbao. La música de la serie sonó en el show mientras Bimba Bosé cantaba sobre la la misma, el tema Como yo te amo, perteneciente a la inolvidable Rocío Jurado.

Aunque no haya sido de momento referencia directa( porque indirecta es lo más probable que haya sido así) seguro que en un futuro encontramos su impactante banda sonora poniendo música a una de las propuestas del malagueño.

Sin duda, Lynch constituye un gran pilar sobre el que David Delfín se apoya a la hora de crear sus prendas, así como de hacer que con sus puestas en escena enamoren al público que las presencia.
